The Project
The Treasure Island Group operates a corporate training business, youth
education programs and a seaside restaurant on south Lantau Island. With 6
years worth of contacts in various formats, the owner was looking for a
system to manage the various mailing lists so the team can easily manage the
lists to send out announcements and promotion notices in-house. The website
home page needed an update and re-design to reflect the 3 different business
offerings, linking directly to the websites for each of the businesses. A
subscription page was added for visitors to sign up for a mailing list. We
recommended and set up a new email publishing software, cleaned up their
excel business lists and imported the data into their new system so it was
ready to use. We designed an email template for the company and set it up on
the publishing system. We wrote and delivered their first message to
introduce the new services and opt-in subscribers from the lists. With some
basic training, the team is now managing their own mailing list and sending
out program announcements.
